Mythguard

Mythguard is a band that reinvented itself in 2022 from a previous band project. Musically, it is rooted in the realms of symphonic and power metal. Inspired by myths and legends, it takes the audience on the wings of sound into a world of self-created stories, where heroes are celebrated, battles are fought, and evil is vanquished.

Each band member embodies a unique role within the Order of Mythguard:

THE HIGH PRIEST (David Fellner)
With his powerful and enchanting voice, he tells the most fantastic tales.

THE LOREKEEPER (Martin Ferschl)
Through the magic of his thoughts and dreams, he transcribes the myths and legends surrounding the Order of MYTHGUARD.

THE TEMPLE GUARD (Johannes Zechner)
Armed with razor-sharp melodies, he frames the stories and adventures of his fellow warriors.

THE ASSASSIN (Christopher Buchta)
Operating from the shadows, he strikes with the hardest rhythms.

THE SORCERESS (Elisabeth Höller)
Summoning the deepest sounds, she fills the hearts of all companions with courage.

THE BLACKSMITH (Thomas Berentits)
The sound of hammer and anvil compels all to follow his call.
